Mary Burns, President and CEO of the Greater Burlington YMCA, today announced the appointment of two new professionals to the Community Relations and Development office.
Peter Ross, VP of Community Relations and Development, joins the Y from The Sharon Academy -- where he was the Director of Advancement for two years. Prior to that, Mr. Ross served as Head of School at Vermont Commons School. He also helped establish the Alumni and Development office at South Burlington High School, where he coordinated the "Fields and Dreams" campaign that raised the funds to renovate the athletic complex.
Joyce Cameron-Wallace, Director of Annual Giving, joins the Y from the Kelly Brush Foundation -- where she served as Executive Director for two years and spearheaded the Kelly Brush Century Ride, which raised close to $300,000 for spinal cord injury research. Previously, Ms. Cameron-Wallace worked as a Project Manager for for LandVest, specializing in the marketing of exceptional properties throughout New England. She also served as chair of the Charlotte Central School Board for 4 years.
