Eric Braun appointed Dean of Students at Vermont Technical College

President Philip A. Conroy has appointed Eric B. Braun as the Dean of Students at Vermont Technical College effective July 1, 2012. Braun will provide leadership for Athletics, Career Development, Intramurals, Public Safety, Residence Life and Student Activities. He will advise the Student Council and work with faculty, staff, and students to enhance the co-curricular experience for students in Randolph Center, Williston, and Vermont Tech’s other campus locations.

“Eric Braun is a dynamic student affairs leader who brings tremendous experience and knowledge to Vermont Tech,” said President Conroy. “We are thrilled to welcome him to our community.”

Braun earned a Doctorate in Education from the University of Northern Iowa in 2006. He also holds masters degrees in counseling and higher education (University of Denver, 1994) and teaching (Tufts University, 1990). Braun has served in numerous student affairs leadership positions over the past 20 years, most recently as Dean of Students at New England College. He has also taught ESL, general education, and higher education administration courses as an adjunct faculty member.

Braun resides in New London, New Hampshire.
