Commando taps Lori Wagner for chief marketing officer

Lori Wagner, former CEO of The Nantucket Project, has joined Commando, the women’s intimates, bodywear and ready-to-wear brand based in South Burlington, as chief marketing officer. Reporting to company CEO and brand founder Kerry O'Brien, Wagner will be responsible for leading the brand’s global marketing strategy with an emphasis on expanding product categories, audiences and markets.

“Lori’s impressive background working with founders and unleashing the power of a brand through storytelling complements Commando’s unwavering commitment to doing it our way,” O’Brien said. “I am elated to have Lori join our team as we set to earn a larger share of our customers’ closet.”

Wagner began her career with a 12-year tenure at J.Crew, where she was part of the team that launched the company's website, putting her firmly at the forefront of the e-commerce revolution. She has also held chief marketing officer positions at Kenneth Cole, Cole Haan and Eileen Fisher.

“Commando’s culture of innovation without compromise has made it irreplaceable in the mind of the customer,” Wagner said. “We have an incredible platform in which to create new products and experiences, and I’m humbled to be part of the dynamic team that is driving Commando into its next chapter.”
