Champlain College recognized some of its long-time employees at its recent 2010 Recognition Event at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center. Champlain President David F. Finney acknowledged the following anniversaries: 40 years - John Lavallee; 35 years – Cliff Gordon and Alan Stracke; 30 years – Geebo Church and Carol Moran-Brown; 25 years – David Mona; and 20 years – Pat Boera, Riki Bowen, Sue Chamberlain, Colleen Long and Sue Rowley. The College also recognized the faculty promotion of David Mona to Associate Professor and the retirement of Cheryl Burghdurf, Daniel Mahoney, David Modica and Lawrence Mandell.
Champlain College was founded in 1878 and currently has nearly 2,000 undergraduate students.
