Toastmasters of Greater Burlington announce officer elections

Toastmasters of Greater Burlington announces the election of the following members as new officers in the club’s executive committee:

President – Terrance Collins of South Burlington is a Strategic Project Manager at Dealer.com in Burlington.

VP Education – Jamey Magowan of Winooski is involved in many media outlets, from WCAX and Hall Radio announcing for charitable and sporting events. He is the purchasing agent for the Vermont Teddy Bear Company.

VP Membership – Curtis Wheeler of South Burlington is a residential rental property manager, owner of Wheeler Property Management LLC

VP Public Relations – Marie-Claude Beaudette of Williston is a member of the Alliance Française of the Lake Champlain Region and a member of the Williston Conservation Commission.

Secretary – M.E Lawlor of Stowe is the Faculty Affairs Administrator for Goddard College in Plainfield and a member of the Stowe Conservation Commission.

VP Treasurer – Bob Viswanathan of Burlington is an independent finance researcher.

Sergeant at Arms and Mentorship Coordinator – Michel Denizot of Fairfax is an IT consultant with IBM in Essex Jct.

Toastmasters of Greater Burlington is the local chapter for Toastmasters International, Inc. where men and women learn the art of speaking, listening, and thinking. The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop and practice public speaking and leadership skills, which foster self-confidence and personal growth.

The Burlington chapter meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. at the Windjammer Conference Center in South-Burlington.
