Zach Seibold has joined Norwich University's School of Architecture + Art as assistant professor of architecture. A former lecturer in architecture and research associate at Harvard University Graduate School of Design; adjunct professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology; and co-founder and principal of VHS Office, a Boston-based design build firm, Seibold brings an expertise in digital design and fabrication.
“Zach is an exceptionally well-rounded and experienced teacher, researcher, digital fabricator, and design-builder,” said school director Cara Armstrong. “His expertise in digital design and fabrication will be a valuable resource for the Architecture programs and our new Designs Arts major.”
Seibold is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds a Master of Design Studies, with a concentration in technology, from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. His research includes work in 3D-printed ceramics and several pavilion-scale installations focused on new applications for ceramic material systems in architecture.
