Northfield Savings Bank welcomes new members of the community banking and commercial banking teams

Northfield Savings Bank has announced appointments to the community banking and commercial banking teams.

Christopher H. Jarvis: Senior Community Banking Officer, College Street, Burlington

Jarvis will provide management of the College Street, Burlington office while assisting customers with their banking needs. He comes to NSB with over 21 years of retail and commercial banking experience. Jarvis is an active and longtime volunteer with the United Way of Northwest Vermont. He holds a B.S. in Finance from East Carolina University and is a graduate of the Leadership Champlain Program through the Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce. Jarvis currently resides in South Burlington with his wife, three daughters and two Shih Tzu’s.

Shaun M. O’Leary: Senior Community Banking Officer, Taft Corners, Williston

O’Leary will provide leadership of the Taft Corners, Williston office. Hailing from Whitman Massachusetts, O’Leary is excited to become an integral part of the Chittenden County community while connecting with local businesses and customers in his new role. He comes to NSB with over 16 years of retail banking experience. O’Leary is a dedicated volunteer for the Lions Club and Kiwanis Club where he actively promotes bicycle safety for children. He attended Bridgewater State College for finance and resides in Richmond with his wife and two sons.

David A. Chevalier: Vice President of Commercial Services, Chittenden County

As Vice President of Commercial Services for Chittenden County, Chevalier will analyze, initiate and monitor commercial banking relationships as he strives to serve businesses throughout the region. He comes to NSB with over eight years of experience in banking and lending. Passionate about financial literacy, Chevalier has led multiple courses on financial education and will continue to provide outreach in Chittenden County. He obtained a B.A. in Economics from Boston University and holds certifications with The Risk Management Association (CRC) and the Association for Financial Professionals (CTP). Chevalier currently resides in Burlington.

Chad T. Hutchins: Commercial Banking Officer, Chittenden County

Recently appointed an Officer and Commercial Lender at NSB, Hutchins will provide lending expertise for area businesses while working out of the Taft Corners, Williston office. He offers nine years of banking experience in a diverse range of positions including branch management, credit administration and commercial lending. Hutchins acts as the Vice Chair of the RMA Young Professionals group, is a Campaign Ambassador for the United Way of Northwestern Vermont, and the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Eric Hutchins Memorial Scholarship Fund. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National and Graduate Commercial Lending Schools. He currently resides in South Burlington.
