Dr. Matthew Rapp is a recent addition to the CVMC Hospitalist Team. Originally from northern Virginia, he received his BS, Cum Laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and his MS in Human Genetics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Medical School and internship were at George Washington University School of Medicine and Medical Center. Dr. Rapp’s residency was at the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.

Hospitalists can help achieve a smooth, speedy recovery by following up on tests and adjusting treatments throughout the day as necessary. Dr. Rapp’s training and bedside manner make him a great fit for this role.”
Dr. Rapp and his wife Anna, a New Hampshire native, live in Essex Junction with their 20 month old daughter Ava.
