Golden named Branch Manager at Union Bank Williston branch

David Silverman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank is pleased to announce that Maureen M. Golden has been selected for the AVP- Branch Manager position at its new Williston branch located at 31 Market Street, Finney Crossing. Currently under construction, the bank’s twentieth full service branch is scheduled to open at the end of July, 2019. Concurrently, the bank’s South Burlington Loan Center will be moving to the second floor of the Williston facility. “We are very pleased to have Maureen join the Union Bank team. Her broad retail and business banking experience together with branch management and leadership skills position her perfectly as we look to serve new and existing customers in Williston and the surrounding communities,” said Silverman. Maureen is currently working out of the Jericho office until the Williston branch opens. Once in Williston, she will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations at the branch, including the management of all retail banking activity and services.

Working in the banking industry for the past 30 years, Maureen has held Branch Manager positions for several banks in Chittenden County, in addition to residential and commercial loan officer and underwriting positions.

Throughout her banking career, Maureen has continued her education by completing courses through the Risk Management Association in professional financial writing and advanced commercial underwriting. She received her B.S. in Business Management from Champlain College and her M.S.in Law from the same institution. Maureen currently serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Community College of Vermont.

Active in community service, Maureen donates her time as an Executive Alumni Advisory Board Member for Champlain College, is a National team member and fund raiser for Dragonheart of Vermont and volunteers for the United Way of Chittenden County.

Residing in Milton, Maureen lives with her husband Mike Randall, owner of the Big Blue Trunk. The couple enjoy spending time with their families and traveling.
