Krista Gay, former attorney at the New York City law firm Perkins Coie, has joined the labor and employment division at the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin. She will be based out of DRM's Brattleboro office.
Prior to entering private practice, Gay completed a federal clerkship with Judge Ramon E. Reyes Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also previously worked as assistant corporate counsel in the Labor & Employment Division of the New York City Law Department and as a staff attorney at Arkansas Legal Services.
Gay is a graduate of John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and holds a law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where she was executive notes and comments editor of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law.
“We are excited to welcome Krista to our committed team of labor and employment attorneys,” said Beth Rattigan, chair of DRM’s labor and employment group. “We’re confident that her qualifications, skills and drive, along with her strong ties to Vermont, will enhance our ability to serve our clients and navigate the complex landscape of labor and employment law in northern New England and beyond.”
