Kelly Devine, Executive Director of the Burlington Business Association (BBA) since 2007, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Queen City Police Foundation.
The Queen City Police Foundation was established in 2000 to help build upon the operational funding that taxpayers provide annually for innovative initiatives, programs and equipment for the Burlington Police Department. The foundation is a non-profit organization that provides supplemental funding not available from the city's budget. The foundation's support allows the Burlington Police Department to further community relationships while providing equipment and technology that support the department's achievement and community involvement.
Devine is honored to be elected to the Foundation’s board of directors. Commenting on the Foundation’s role, Devine said, “The Burlington PD is an essential service in support of Burlington's economic vitality and our downtown businesses. Serving on the QCPF Board of Directors will allow me to help support those who do so much in service of Burlington.”
