Langrock Sperry & Wool announced that Vincent J Todd and Eliza H van Lennep have been named partners at the firm, effective Jan 1. Both attorneys will be based in the firm’s Burlington office.
“We are very pleased to have Vince and Eliza join us as partners,” noted partner Eric Knudsen. “They are both outstanding attorneys and respected members of their communities. We know that they will play a significant role in the continued success of the firm.”
Todd's practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, business deals, entity governance and Vermont cannabis licensure. He provides counsel to both individuals and businesses to help them achieve their transactional goals. Before joining Langrock, he worked for a land-use litigation firm in New Jersey. In addition, he previously clerked for the Vermont Superior Court, Lamoille and Orleans units, working on a broad range of civil and criminal litigation.
Van Lennep has a diverse litigation practice. Her civil litigation practice includes employment discrimination matters; landlord/tenant law; contract disputes; Title IX proceedings and investigations; and postsecondary educational matters. In her family law practice, she seeks common-sense outcomes that will improve relationships between parents and parent and child. This includes divorce, parent/child contact and parental rights and responsibilities; child support; and other family court matters. In her probate court work, van Lennep is experienced in guardianship proceedings and adoptions, including second-parent adoptions for same-sex couples and stepparent adoptions.
