Sona Iyengar, a Burlington resident with 18 years professional writing experience, recently opened Sona Writes, a writing and communications business in downtown Burlington.
Sona Writes offers the full range of public relations and marketing content writing – both print and online -- including Web content, brochures and newsletters, annual reports, press releases, speechwriting and presentations, feature articles and advertising copy.
Sona works with businesses and non-profits of all sizes, helping them sharpen their messages and improve communications with target audiences. She also provides communications strategy, project management and media relations services.
A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Ill., Sona has worked in journalism and public relations for 18 years. Most recently, she worked in the Marketing & Communications Office at Fletcher Allen Health Care for nine years, first as a public relations writer and then as senior writer.
