The Vermont Independent Schools Association has named Hartland resident Mill Moore as its Executive Director.
Moore is a long-time marketing communications and marketing research professional. He joins VISA after a three-year term as a trustee of The Sharon Academy, in Sharon, Vermont. VISA represents and supports the many independent schools throughout Vermont. Approximately ten percent of all Vermont elementary or secondary school students attend a school that operates independent of public administration.
Moore’s duties in the part-time Executive Director position will include representing the independent school community to state government and organizing support services to independent school administrators. Moore also will continue to operate his marketing research consulting business.
