As part of its annual reorganization, the UVM Medical Center Board of Trustees appointed Jesse Bridges, CEO of United Way of Northwest Vermont, as chair, and Aly Richards, CEO of Let's Grow Kids, as vice chair. Attorney Thomas Little, who served as board chair in 2023, will continue to serve as a member of the group.

The board also appointed five new members with experience in finance and business; elder care and advocacy; and health consulting, nursing, pediatric nephrology and women’s health. They are Joe Bilodeau, founder of Bilodeau Wells & Co. in Essex Junction; Jane Catton, CEO of Age Well in Colchester; Naomi Clemmons, senior technical adviser at JSI in Boston; Dr. Ann Guillot, retired pediatric nephrologist at UVM Medical Center; and Dr. Elizabeth McGee, vice chair of gynecology and director of reproductive endocrinology and infertility in the department of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive medicine at UVM Medical.

“I thank our new trustees for giving their time and expertise to help advance UVM Medical Center’s critically important mission of caring for the community, and the work of the exceptional staff and leaders across our organization,” Bridges said. “Our entire board of trustees is committed to putting our community’s well-being at the forefront of everything we do at UVM Medical Center, and to ensuring we make the decisions that best support our patients, our staff and the health and wellness of every member of the communities we serve.”
