Southwestern Vermont Health Care Foundation recently hired a new senior gifts officer and appointed two new members to its Northshire Regional Advisory Board.
Suzanne Anair, former administrator of the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, is expected to work in the senior gift officer role for a time before advancing to become director of development. In this new role, she will support the foundation in its mission to raise funds for SVHC. Anair is a graduate of Northern Vermont University and worked during her early career in several positions within skilled nursing facilities before becoming a skilled nursing facility administrator in 2007.
The two new members of the advisory board are Regina Downer, a community nurse at My Community Nurse Project in Londonderry, and Parker Rice, owner of the outdoor sport store Equipe Sport.
Downer holds a master’s degree in maternal-child health from Boston University and a certification as a pediatric nurse practitioner from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Before joining My Community Nurse, she worked in pediatric care and health education in Dutchess County, NY, for 45 years before retiring to Weston, VT.
Rice is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith College. He has served on numerous civic boards, including the Stratton Foundation.
