Ross Sneyd named Vice President of National Life Group Foundation

Ross Sneyd has been named vice president of National Life Group’s Charitable Foundation.

“Ross is a natural fit for this role given his familiarity and dedication to our community,” said Beth Rusnock, president of the Foundation. “He’s a strong addition to our team and will help us do even more good for our neighbors.”

The National Life Group Foundation awards roughly $500,000 in grants annually to nonprofit organizations in Vermont and the Dallas, Texas region, which are the homes to the company’s two campuses.

The work of the foundation is separate from National Life Group’s corporate sponsorships, community giving, and community volunteer programs.

Sneyd joined National Life Group’s corporate communications team in June 2013, focusing on strengthening the company’s external communications programs. His additional Foundation responsibilities will include helping to find new opportunities for the Foundation to make a difference.

Sneyd came to National Life Group after six years at Vermont Public Radio, where he served as news director. Before that he worked for The Associated Press for 18 years.
