Laurie Cantus, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor. Laurie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Vermont. Following a new career path, she joins the RehabGYM as a Personal Trainer and Golf Fitness Instructor with certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Her interests lie in Functional Movement Screening used to determine the cause of physical dysfunction, and the alleviation of limitations through exercise.
Ali Hamedani, DPT. Ali joins the team at the RehabGYM as a physical therapist. After completing his doctorate from the University of Vermont in 2009, he provided physical therapy for residents at a skilled nursing facility in Burlington and for students in the Montpelier public schools.
Anthea Schmid, PT. Anthea graduated from Bowdoin College in 1994 and received her master's in physical therapy from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Phoenix in 1998. For the past decade, she has practiced in Colorado with special interests in orthopedics, aquatics, exercise prescription for cancer survivors, orthotic prescription, and the 'aging athlete.' She received her Lymphedema Therapist Certification from the Klose Institute.
Sean Jaques. Sean earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Vermont in 2008. His professional experience has focused on client support in various technical industries. This reflects his interest in computers and contributes to his success as Billing Specialist for The RehabGYM.
