Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer PC welcomes three new associates

Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer PC, with offices in Burlington, Montpelier and St. Johnsbury, Vermont and Littleton, New Hampshire, is pleased to announce the hiring of three associates.

Jesse D. Crary will be based in the Montpelier office but will also work in Burlington on a regular basis. His primary areas of practice will be captive insurance and general corporate representation. Prior to joining PPEC, Jesse practiced for four years in Middlebury, Vermont where he developed a broad-based practice serving individual and business clients in matters involving civil litigation and general representation. He holds a B.A. in English from the University of Vermont and a J.D. from Vermont Law School, where he served as a member of the school’s Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. He lives in Richmond, Vermont with his wife and three children.

Alexandra E. Edelman will be practicing out of the Burlington office. Alex’s primary area of practice is complex commercial litigation. She has litigated loan defaults, foreclosures, title disputes, contract disputes, business dissolutions and fraud. Prior to joining the firm, Alex was an associate in the Litigation Department of Herrick, Feinstein LLP, where she represented corporations and individuals in state and federal courts throughout New York and New Jersey. Alex received her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University in 2000 and her law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2005. Relocating from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, Alex and her husband live in Burlington, Vermont.

Logan Baker, the newest of the associates, will be based in the Burlington office. Logan practices primarily in the areas of taxation and estate planning, where he advises individuals, business entities and nonprofit organizations on federal, state, and local tax issues. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee. Logan received his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law, where he served as President of the International Law Society and was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team. In addition to his J.D., Logan holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from Florida State University. Logan and his wife live in Waterbury Center, Vermont.
