RSG Senior Director, Peter Plumeau, and RSG Director, Dan Weinstein, have been appointed to the RSG Board of Directors by RSG’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Trustees. This appointment marks the first term for both Mr. Plumeau and Mr. Weinstein. RSG’s Board of Directors is responsible for governance of the company, providing direction and oversight to management.
“Peter and Dan are two long-time employee-owners who are experienced in public policy and business strategy. Their capabilities will contribute to implementing our newly developed corporate strategy which emphasizes RSG’s national business lines, newly launched rebranding, and the people and culture at our core.” RSG CEO, Stephen Lawe, said of the recently appointed board members.
Peter Plumeau manages RSG’s Burlington, Vermont office and leads RSG’s Policy and Freight Planning work. Mr. Plumeau has been with RSG for seven years and has over 25 years’ experience communicating complex issues to diverse audiences and facilitating consensus-building among disparate parties, including legislators, agency officials, private firms and the public on three continents. Mr. Plumeau holds a Master of Public Administration from the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, State University of New York at Albany. He is a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Strategic Management Committee and past Chair of the TRB Metropolitan Planning Committee.
Dan Weinstein’s expertise is in new business development and market strategy work for Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Weinstein began his career at RSG working on transportation planning projects and refocused on market strategy after working at Google, where he managed a large-scale effort to increase YouTube’s revenue. At RSG, he leads a team that applies sophisticated research-based analytics to business solutions. Mr. Weinstein holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and is a two-time Olympic athlete and former United States Champion in short track speedskating.
