Lori Bass Receives DRM Employee Award

Lori A. Bass, a legal secretary in Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC's Burlington office, was named the winner of the Diane R. Lynch Distinguished Service Award at the firm's holiday party in December.

Established in 2000 to honor the firm's 50th anniversary and in memory of Lynch, the award is given each year to a former or current employee who has demonstrated loyalty, dedication, energy, drive, selflessness, good nature, humor and commitment. A Burlington resident, Bass graduated from Mt. Mansfield Union High School. She began working at DRM as a legal secretary in 1984.

"It is well-deserved," said David Sylvester, a director of the firm. "Lori and I have worked together for over ten years and, during that time, she has consistently made client service her top priority. Lori has many strengths, none more impressive than her dedication to teamwork and her colleagues."

Attorney Bill Schroeder added "Lori has been a dedicated, professional member of our team for a long time, and I'm glad that the firm has recognized her efforts."
