Ledyard National Bank is pleased to announce that Christopher J. Taylor has joined their Hanover office at 38 South Main Street as Senior Vice President and Retail Banking Leader.
Prior to joining Ledyard, Chris was employed at Hudson Valley Bank in New York, where he was the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at The Bank of New York as well, and as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Scarsdale National Bank.
“With over thirty five years of banking experience, Chris will be a true asset to the Ledyard team,” said Kathy Underwood, President and CEO of Ledyard National Bank.
Chris earned his Master of Business Administration from Iona Graduate School for Business in New Rochelle, New York. He also attended the ABA Stonier Graduate School for Banking in New Brunswick, New Jersey and Siena College in Loudonville, New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Chris was the Chairman of the Retail Banking Division of the New York Bankers Association and the Westchester County Bankers Association. He also served on the Board of Trustees of Pace University and the Board of Directors of Westchester County Association and the United Way of Westchester.
