Kate Dempsey, RN has been named Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist at Maple Leaf Farm. Kate is a 2007 graduate of UVM and worked previously as a Nurse Manager at the Vermont State Hospital. Kate first joined the staff at Maple Leaf Farm in 2008 as a per diem nurse.
Maple Leaf Farm is a 41-bed residential substance abuse treatment center licensed by the State of Vermont and is nationally accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Last year, 774 patients spent 13,920 days at Maple Leaf Farm.
