Karen Lanphear, known by many in the community from her years at TD Bank (formerly Franklin Lamoille Bank), has been named General Manager of Alpine SnowGuards, the top snow guard manufacturer in the country. Karen has worked for the thriving company for over 10 years, and has earned this new title by diligently overseeing the day to day operations of the finance, accounting and administration departments. In her new role of General Manager, Karen will oversee all daily operations of the company; a challenging, yet extremely important responsibility.
“Karen is a bright, level-headed, well-rounded manager who has taken her finance background and layered on a thorough understanding of how a manufacturing entity ticks. She will lead a strong team of equally talented and smart department managers and staff. We are very proud of all her accomplishments. The company would not be where it is today without her; it has an exciting future in Vermont,” says Alpine SnowGuards President and Founder, Brian Stearns.
