People’s United Bank recently announced that Ian Squirrell has been promoted to branch manager at their Dorset Street branch in South Burlington. In this position Squirrell will be responsible for working with customers to ensure the best possible customer experience as well as working with the community to support the various needs including financial literacy.
Squirrell started his career with People’s United Bank in March of 2016 as a branch manager. He brings 10 years of financial experience to the position, working previously as a Branch Manager for 6 years and as a Regional Consumer Lender for 4 years at another financial institution.
Squirrell holds his Life Insurance license and studied business management at Johnson State College. He is an active member of his community and a member of the South Burlington Rotary. Squirrell resides in South Burlington with his fiancé and child.
