The Fleischer Jacobs Group has announced the hiring of Christine Oliver as Senior Director for its benefits business.

She brings an ability to build relationships and a deep understanding for the unique challenges that businesses face in Vermont. Her diverse background in insurance, business, law, human resources and human services will ensure our clients are well served.”

Ms. Oliver most recently served as the Executive Director of APS Healthcare’s Vermont office and previously held several positions within State Government, including Deputy Commissioner for the Health Care Administration (HCA) in the former Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration. While at HCA, Ms. Oliver was responsible for implementation of the Affordable Care Act, and Vermont’s Act 128 – the Catamount Health Plan.
Ms. Oliver obtained her law degree from The Ohio State University, College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the Youngstown State University. She resides in East Montpelier with her husband and three children.
