David Bardin promoted to Senior Vice President of Lending at The Bank of Bennington

The Bank of Bennington is pleased to announce the promotion of David Bardin to Senior Vice President of Lending. Bardin will oversee the commercial and residential loan departments while continuing to lend and develop commercial account relationships for the bank.

Jim Brown, President and CEO of The Bank of Bennington said, “Dave’s banking experience and local knowledge are a great asset to the Bank. I look forward to him taking a much larger role in directing the Bank’s growth and culture.”

Bardin joined the bank in 2008 and has nearly 30 years of lending experience in the Manchester area. His banking experience includes credit administration, retail, mortgage, and commercial lending and he was a Vice President for Berkshire Bank and Factory Point National Bank for 24 years.

Dave’s current and past affiliations include: Advisory Board member for Burr Burton Academy, Board member and Treasurer for Rizio-Wood Scholarships, past Board member and Treasurer for Bennington County Industrial Corporation, Past President of the Vermont Chapter of Risk Management Association, past Chairman of the Vermont Bankers Association for Consumer and Commercial lending, past member of the Vermont Bankers Association for Mortgage lending, past Chairman for Northshire United Way and past Board member for Bennington County Crime Stoppers.
