Community Care Network in Rutland has promoted Director of Substance Use Disorders Treatment Services Cindy Taylor-Patch to project director of CCN's Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. In her new role, Taylor-Patch will lead the clinic's certification process centered around the key objectives of care coordination, utilization of evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement, with a special emphasis on ensuring and improving equal access to care and support.
Taylor-Patch joined Community Care Network in 2022 from the Vermont Police Academy, where she was director of training and curriculum development. She has also served as founding member and chair of the Vermont Mental Health Crisis Response Commission, walk-in clinician and therapeutic case manager at Rutland Mental Health Services, crisis clinician and utilization analyst in the psychiatric services unit at Rutland Regional Medical Center and emergency team clinician at Counseling Services of Addison County.
Taylor-Patch, who holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in forensic psychology from Castleton University, is a member of the Vermont Association of Addiction Treatment Providers, Vermont Addiction Professionals Association, National Association for Addiction Professionals and RRMC Psychiatric Inpatient Services Unit Advisory Council.
