William Lucci, former assistant director for adult technical education at Stafford Technical Center in Rutland, has been named program director of The Hub CoWorks, the Chamber and Economic Development of the Rutland Region's co-working, meeting and event space.
In his new role, Lucci will develop and deliver high-interest programming, classes, events and social activities, with primary focus on supporting tech economy startup businesses and current businesses in the region.
“We are excited to welcome Bill to the CEDRR team,“ said Executive Director Lyle Jepson. “Bill’s years of experience at the local technical center, as well as experience with curriculum research and development that supports business and industry, will enhance our work at CEDRR.”
While at Stafford, Lucci developed over 150 adult and continuing education courses and created successful partnerships with ed2go and Cengage Learning. He also oversaw recruitment of highly skilled instructors and established viable training programs for incumbent, unemployed and underemployed workers.
