Cancer Patient Support Foundation names 2016 executive leadership team

At the Annual Meeting of the Cancer Patient Support Foundation’s Board of Directors, a new Executive Committee was elected for 2016: Bobbe Maynes of South Burlington, President; Ben Gould of Colchester, Vice President; Kimberly Luebbers from Williston, Secretary; and Neal Robinson from Essex Junction, as Treasurer.

· Bobbe Maynes, President is serving her second year as President and is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman specializing in residential sales. Prior to joining CBH&B she was the Director of Communications and Development for the United Way of Chittenden County for several years and the Communications Director for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont. Currently she serves on the Board of the Burlington Business Association where she co-chairs the Governance Committee, and is also on the Board of Mercy Connections where co-chairs the Marketing Committee.

· Benjamin Gould, Vice President is an attorney with the law firm of Paul Frank + Collins, where he specializes in transactional, regulatory, and coverage matters for captive insurance companies. Ben is a 2015 graduate of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Champlain Program. He also serves on the Governance Committee for the Foundation and is a member of the conference committee for the Vermont Captive Insurance Association.

· Kimberly Luebbers, Secretary is the Assistant Dean for Clinical Research Administration, University of Vermont, College of Medicine & Director, Office of Clinical Trials Research, University of Vermont Medical Center. Kim is a board member for the Victoria Buffum Endowment and a board member and grants chair of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, VT/NH affiliate.

· Neal Robinson, Treasurer is the Vice President for Finance and the Treasurer at Saint Michael’s College. He also serves as the Secretary of Convention for the Episcopal Diocese of VT and treasurer of St. James Episcopal Church.

Two members of the CPSF Board were thanked for their years of service as they retired from the Board:

· Karen Allen, Esq.; attorney/principal of Karen Allen Law. Allen co-chaired the Special Events Committee for the Foundation.

· Diane Frieheit; a licensed Psychologist-Master and psychotherapist in private practice. She served the organization as President in 2013 & 2014.
