Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont has elevated Director of Human Resources and Facilities Margaret Pinello-White to the newly created role of chief administrative officer. In her new position, Pinello-White oversees claims; mail and document management; payment integrity; audit; human resources; learning and organizational development; and facilities.
“Margaret has been a key leader in our organization for over a decade, and her dedication to co-workers and the Vermonters we serve is evident every day,” said Don George, president and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont.
Pinello-White is a graduate of Vermont Technical College and holds a master’s degree in business administration with a focus in organizational leadership from Norwich University. She has participated in several leadership programs, including the Vermont Leadership Institute, from which she graduated last year. She is currently working on a degree in mediation from Champlain College’s Center for Mediation and Dialogue.
For 10 years, Pinello-White has volunteered at Green Mountain United Way, serving on its board, committees and in leadership positions. She currently chairs the organization’s board of directors and is a member of its finance committee.
