Blake Hill wins the US Good Food Awards again!

For the sixth consecutive year, Blake Hill Preserves has created some of the top scoring products from over 2,000 entries to the US Good Food Awards. Particularly exciting this year, their two top scoring entries are from Blake Hill’s latest new offerings created for the modern pantry.

WINNER OF THE US GOOD FOOD AWARDS is Blake Hill’s Wild Bergamot-infused Raspberry Jam from their new Farm-and-Forage-to-Jar range that celebrates the harvest with a seasonally evolving special edition menu of sweet, savory and spicy preserved fruits and vegetables from local farms or foraged from the countryside around Blake Hill.

Says Vicky, “We are infusing the nuanced floral, peppery notes of wild bergamot flowers from our gardens at Blake Hill with the finest raspberries to create a uniquely fruity, slightly tart jam with a hint of spice.” Perfect with everything from fresh scones to a creamy brie, this special jam is winning national acclaim, including featuring in the stunning new book “Savor” by Kimberly Stevens about some of the very best cheese pairings across the US.

Blake Hill’s unique “Farm and Forage” concept features four varieties each for Spring, Summer and Fall / Winter. Incorporating sweet, savory and spicy options each season, 2019’s menu includes a Springtime “Rhubarb, Dandelion and Honey” jam, a Summertime “Green Tomato and Roast Garlic” ketchup, and a Fall “Chai-spiced Plum and Crabapple” jam.

BLAKE HILL ALSO WINS A 2019 GOOD FOOD FINALIST SEAL for their uniquely spicy Jalapeno Chili Jam from their new Spicy Pantry range. Inundated with customer requests for a special spicy line, Blake Hill launched a Spicy Pantry range of Hot Chili Jams and Avant-Garde Ketchups for the modern pantry.
