Langrock Sperry & Wool has announced that attorney Matthew A. Zidovsky has been named a partner at the firm, effective Jan. 1. He is based in the firm’s Burlington office.

Zidovsky represents both businesses and individuals in litigation and appeals, including commercial/contract disputes, contested estate and trust proceedings, property disputes, employment claims and other general tort matters. He also represents clients in land use and other regulatory proceedings before municipal bodies and in Vermont Department of Labor matters.

“We are delighted to welcome Matt as one of our partners," said Langrock partner Lisa Shelkrot. "He’s a zealous and thoughtful litigator and a wonderful person to have around. He’s a great addition to our team, and we are lucky to have him.”

Zidovsky joined Langrock Sperry & Wool in June 2021 from Montgomery & Andrews in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he worked primarily as a litigator. He earned a law degree at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the New Mexico Law Review.
