Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP is pleased to announce that Eric D Jones has been named a partner as of January 1, 2021. Eric is a highly experienced labor and employment lawyer. He handles the full scope of workplace disputes – lawsuits in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and government enforcement agency proceedings. In addition, Eric counsels employers of all types and sizes in establishing sound employment practices and policies. He also works with human resources professionals to handle the day-to-day employment matters that routinely arise in the workplace. Eric’s practice includes advising community-owned and worker-owned cooperatives, with a particular focus on food co-ops and the unique labor-relations issues that arise in co-op environments.

Eric joined Langrock in December 2020 after many years of practice at another major law firm, and at his own firm. He was graduated from Northwestern University and received his law degree summa cum laude from Vermont Law School.
Eric lives in Shelburne with his wife. When not working, Eric can usually be found playing guitar or in his workshop where he builds and maintains stringed instruments.
