Adam Locklin, former executive director at the Vermont Technology Alliance, began work in January as Vermont district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration. A combat veteran of the Marine Corps, he is a graduate of Park University in Missouri and holds an MBA from the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business.
In his new role, Locklin is responsible for the delivery of SBA’s financial assistance, business counseling and contracting programs throughout Vermont.
“With 20 years of diverse professional experience,” said Peter A. Steele, SBA New England regional administrator. “Adam is well-positioned to lead Vermont’s new and experienced SBA team members to assist and empower the unique small businesses, manufacturers and aspiring entrepreneurs in the state.”
