TD Bank has promoted Don Baker, former commercial market president for Vermont, to the expanded role of commercial market president for northern New England. In his new position, Baker will lead the commercial and small business banking teams in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Baker has more than 30 years of banking experience. Beyond his work with TD, he sits on the board of the Lake Champlain Opportunity Fund and is a member of the Vermont Business Roundtable. He is a former board member of the Lake Champlain Chamber, Vermont Bankers Association and Greater Burlington Multicultural Resource Center.
Baker is a graduate of Colby College and holds a master's in business administration from Saint Michael's College in Colchester.
