Tristan Roy, a former emergency medical technician in the emergency department at North Country Hospital in Newport, has returned to the facility as a physician assistant in the hospitalist program.
She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from West Chester University in Pennsylvania.
“I am very excited to welcome Ms. Roy to the team caring for hospitalized patients at North Country Hospital,” said Dr. Charlie LaGoy, medical director of the hospitalist program. “As a provider with strong local roots and a passion for community-based medicine, she will work with us to provide excellent care for patients in the Northeast Kingdom.”
