Thomas Leavitt, president and CEO at Northfield Savings Bank, has announced plans to retire in early fall. He has served as NSB's 14th president since Oct. 1, 2014.
Leavitt previously served as president and CEO at MountainOne Financial in Massachusetts and as executive vice president at Merchants Bank in Vermont. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
“Tom has served NSB with exceptional distinction, embodying our values and leaving an enduring legacy of leadership and vision,” said John Lyon, chair of the bank's board of trustees. “He has made our company, our customer base and our communities stronger by his devoted efforts over the past decade plus.”
