The Lake Champlain Chamber (LCC) has appointed Noragh Devlin as the new director of LaunchVT. This addition further strengthens the organization’s commitment to fostering Vermont’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and driving economic growth.
In her new role, Devlin will lead LaunchVT’s work to provide strategic support, education, and coaching to high-growth startups throughout the state. By leveraging community partnerships and its proven flagship acceleration program, LaunchVT will continue to equip Vermont entrepreneurs with the tools and mentorship necessary to solve complex problems and create meaningful economic opportunities within their communities.
Devlin is an early-stage ecosystem developer with experience across all sides of the startup landscape—working in startups directly, with investors, and within accelerators. Most recently, she served as chief of staff at climate tech startup Beacon Climate Innovations based at Greentown Labs in Boston, where she focused on innovative growth strategy and fundraising. Devlin also developed and delivered impact-focused finance programming for Village Capital and was a fellow with Capital Innovation Lab, where she provided capital strategy and investment readiness coaching for Vermont-based entrepreneurs.
“I am constantly impressed with the drive, grit, and camaraderie I have seen in Vermont-based entrepreneurs and the ecosystem that surrounds them,” said Devlin. “I am so pleased to have the opportunity to dive even deeper into Vermont's special entrepreneurial ecosystem as the director of LaunchVT.”
A graduate of the Sustainable Innovation MBA from the University of Vermont, Devlin was named the Robert M. Phillips Fellow for Vermont Entrepreneurial Equity. Prior to her MBA, she worked at Centerbridge Partners in New York City and was a professional opera singer.
“Our goal at the Chamber has always been to build a robust, diversified economy, and LaunchVT is at the heart of that effort. Noragh brings the energy and expertise needed to support our next generation of founders,” said LCC President & CEO, Cathy Davis. “I am confident that under her direction, LaunchVT will continue to empower Vermonters to turn innovative ideas into thriving businesses that create jobs and opportunity for our entire state.”
