Multimedia journalist Olivia Lyons, former chief of WCAX-TV's Rutland bureau, has joined Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region as communications and marketing manager.
In her new role, Lyons will oversee the regional marketing initiative Real Rutland, which was recently expanded with in-house efforts at CEDRR. She will also manage the day-to-day marketing and all communications efforts, including press releases, social media and regular newsletters.
“Olivia’s skills will serve to be invaluable as we continue to grow our regional marketing to welcome new families into Rutland County as well as our overall organization,” said CEDRR Executive Director Lyle Jepson. “She has a passion for Rutland County that will serve as a key asset to our work at CEDRR.”
Lyons is a broadcast media production graduate of Champlain College.
