Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Heather Kvasnak joined the Agency in the position of Manager of Business Development - Homeownership. Heather has a background in mortgage lending as well as regulatory and compliance requirements. Her previous positions with Wells Fargo and Bank of America required Heather to conduct trainings for diverse audiences.
Heather resides in Fairfax, Vermont and joined the Agency on Friday, February 17th.
VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 28,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,600 affordable rental units.
