Howard Center appoints Novotny as Chief People and Culture Officer

Howard Center in Burlington has appointed Miriam Novotny, MSOD, as its new Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO). In this role, she will oversee the organization’s people strategy and operations, leading efforts to enhance workplace culture and the employee experience, support employee well-being, and ensure a resilient, engaged, and supported workforce. Novotny brings extensive experience as an executive coach, organizational consultant, and author, and previously served at the Mosaic Learning Center for more than two decades in senior leadership roles, including Director of Operations and Executive Director. She holds a Master’s in Positive Organization Development from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and certifications in Emotional Intelligence Coaching, Immunity to Change Facilitation, and Appreciative Inquiry. Her deep expertise in strategic leadership, operational experience managing organizational complexities, and forging key partnerships with stakeholders will support Howard Center’s strategic priorities.
