Ryan Emmons, former regional sales director at Vermont Coffee Company, has joined Vermont Nut Free Chocolates as director of sales. Emmons brings the position a strong background in the consumer packaged-goods industry and will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Colchester.
“Ryan is an excellent fit to join our team as we continue the work of expanding our retail presence in the marketplace through both our direct accounts and our distributor network,” said Mark Elvidge, chief executive officer and co-founder of Vermont Nut Free Chocolates.
At Vermont Coffee, Emmons helped increase company revenues by more than three times over a seven-year span. Prior to that, Emmons held sales management positions at Vermont-based companies such as Keurig Green Mountain, Pepsi Beverages Company and Ben & Jerry’s Homemade.
Vermont Nut Free Chocolates offers its products on-site at its retail store, online and in grocers nationwide.
