The first female OB/GYN in the history of North Country OB/GYN joined the practice February 10. Dr. Jeanette West has relocated to Newport from North Conway, NH where she worked at Memorial Hospital and at MWV Health Care Associates. She joins Dr. Peter Stuart, Dr. William Peck and Certified Nurse Midwife Lesley Rae Larsen.
Dr. West obtained her medical degree from the University of Florida. She completed her residency as Chief Resident of Abington Memorial Hospital outside of Philadelphia.
Dr. West will be joined by her husband and three boys, who are all avid sports enthusiasts and are looking forward to taking advantage of all the activities the NEK has to offer.
