Daniel Jacobs, former investment management associate at Akin Gump in Washington, DC, has joined the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin.
Jacobs began work with DRM’s Business Law Group in Burlington in January. Leveraging his experience, he will continue to serve businesses and investors on a variety of complex corporate and transactional matters, including business formation; mergers and acquisitions; corporate governance; and commercial transactions.

A graduate of Washington & Lee School of Law in Virginia, Jacobs served as a judicial law clerk to Magistrate Judge Christopher Burke of the US District Court for the District of Delaware and to Associate Judge Pamela White of the 8th Circuit Court for Baltimore City in Maryland.
