DEW Construction adds marketing specialist, project superintendent

DEW Construction, one of the region's largest and most respected construction companies serving the Northeast, has announced the hiring of Clint Oftedahl as marketing specialist and Ray Burns as superintendent.

Oftedahl brings to DEW nearly 20 years of experience in communications and media, including broadcasting and publishing. In his new role, Oftedahl's responsibilities include producing tailored proposal responses and supporting materials for client meetings and interviews, as well as maintaining the customer relationship management database. He is a graduate of Campbell University and holds a vocational degree in broadcasting from the Illinois Center for Broadcasting.

Burns brings to his new role decades of industry experience in construction supervisory positions. His expertise spans government, public and private sector projects, historic restorations, and industrial and manufacturing. He will be working on the Bellows Free Academy project in Fairfax, where he will manage the field staff, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure timely, cost-effective project completion while maintaining a safe work environment.
