Bond attorney Daniel Sharpe has been admitted to practice law in the state of Vermont. Daniel has 40 years of experience as a tax and employee benefits (ERISA) attorney. His primary area of experience lies in the area of qualified pension and retirement plans, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans as well as ESOPs, traditional defined benefit plans, and collectively bargained plans. Recently, much of his work has been focused on improving plan governance and fiduciary performance. Daniel has worked with business executives, plan committees and trustees to evaluate, manage and minimize fees, develop policies, and to negotiate service agreements.
Daniel has worked and lived in Buffalo, NY since 1975 and is admitted to practice law in New York. He now also maintains a residence in Hinesburg, VT and is a resident there from late-May until mid-October. During this time, he works remotely as part of Bond’s team of 10 full-time ERISA lawyers and visits regularly with clients in the Greater Burlington and Northern Vermont area.
