Aspire Living & Learning, a private, multistate human services agency based in Barre, has elevated Chief Finance and Strategy Officer Erica Hare to CEO, effective July 1. She will succeed Lou Giramma, who has guided Aspire since 2015 and will step down in June.
During her five-year tenure at Aspire, Hare has strengthened the agency's financial health, streamlined operations and positioned Aspire for sustained growth. Her leadership seamlessly blends financial acumen with a deep commitment to person-centered support.
Hare is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. She serves as chair of the Central Vermont Medical Center Board of Trustees
“Erica’s dedication to mission-driven work, combined with her exceptional leadership abilities, makes her the ideal candidate to lead Aspire into the future,” said board secretary Katie Franco. “The board of directors is confident that under her leadership, Aspire will continue to thrive and achieve even greater success.”
