Leisa Pollander, Executive Director of Sara Holbrook Community Center, is happy to announce that Lindsay Hennekey has joined the Center’s Board of Directors. “We are very lucky that Lindsay has time and talent to give on behalf of the Center. Her commitment to kids and families and to community service will serve us well!”
Hennekey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Champlain College. She is currently the marketing director at Members Advantage Community Credit Union. Prior to her current position, she worked at Dealer.com (for six years), first as a Senior Digital Advisor and then a Program Manager. She ran her own cleaning business for over four years, and earlier was an Account Manager at Bombardier Capital Inc.
Hennekey was drawn to the Sara Holbrook Center’s focus on healthy child development. “The impact these programs have on young children is powerful, meaningful and critical to their development. Agencies like the Sara Holbrook Center help children build self-esteem, confidence, and nurturing relationships. I look forward to using my experience to contribute to SHCC in many areas.
