Saint Michael’s taps Taylor to lead career education center

Kaomi Taylor, a longtime community leader, small-business owner and educator, has been named executive director of the Henry “Bud” Boucher Jr. ’69 Career Education Center at Saint Michael’s College. In this role, Taylor will be responsible for leading strategy, deepening student services and extending Saint Michael’s assistance to workforce development efforts in Vermont.

Taylor previously served as executive director of the Governor’s Institutes of Vermont and taught business courses at both Saint Michael’s College and Champlain colleges. She founded her own consulting company in 2005 and for years has provided businesses and nonprofits with research, training and consulting.

Taylor is a graduate of Middlebury College and holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
